6-Point Hips & Hands Drill (LSU Style)
Coach Ed Orgeron teaching one of my favorite D-Line drills!
👉 The 6-Point Hips & Hands Drill.
Here’s how it works:
1️⃣ Start in a 6-point stance. Hands, knees, and toes on the ground.
2️⃣ On the “hut,” explode out, strike the bag, and fully lock out your hips while your partner holds your feet down.
The goal?
Train hip power and arm extension from the ground up.
One violent, connected movement — feet, hips, hands.
Remember, power doesn’t come from your hands…
It comes from the ground.
👇 Drop your thoughts! Have you ever repped this drill before?
