Why Ruck 100?
I truly believe that everyone has the ability to achieve something great. No matter the circumstances, no matter the upbringing, no matter the cards you were dealt — every person can accomplish the goals they set out to achieve.
With a proper strategy and a guided plan of action—executed consistently—greatness is possible for anyone willing to put in the work.
So why did I choose to put myself through this challenge again?
Simply put: the job isn’t done.
Last year, I wasn’t fully prepared. We had no real strategy, we didn’t plan for worst-case scenarios, and I underestimated the task.
Not this time.
For the past 16 weeks, I’ve worked diligently with a singular focus: finish 100 miles. We now have a better strategy, a stronger plan of action, and the biggest advantage—I’ve already been there. I know exactly what type of pain I’ll go through, I understand the pressure, and I’m fully prepared for it.
But this isn’t about me.
This is about raising awareness for a cause. It’s about proving that anything in life is achievable through proper planning and execution.
This is for the veterans who need help.
For the people who need inspiration to move.
For those who believe that if you fall down, you have to stay down.
Here’s the standard:
Fall down if you must, but never stay down.
The ruck and the 100 miles are just the objective.
The true mission is to compete with yourself and overcome whatever stands in front of you.
