Video Series Strategy

Hi! Quick question (sorry if it’s an obvious one).

I’d like to create a video series. I understand that at the end of one video, the “call to action” is to have viewers click the link in the end card to go to the next video.

However, what do you do if you haven’t uploaded the next video yet? I know I can link it to the playlist and eventually the next video will be there, but in the meantime, do I lose credibility with the people who have watched until the end?

Right now, my ideas include the following:

Make a note in the description that the video is coming soon.
Use YouTube studio to temporarily cut the end of the video where I tell people to click the link. (Is this even possible? 🤷‍♀️)
Just relax, no one is watching until the end anyway. 😅
