Turning off monetisation to boost channel growth??

I have a channel that is definitely growing (currently at 2.6k subscribers after about 1 year of consistent posting) and would like it to grow a bit quicker. I am consistently getting 3-5 subscribers per day.

Has anyone ever turned off monetisation to fuel growth?

I am only getting around £60 per month at the moment, so I wouldn't really miss it. It is mainly tech tutorials, around 10-20 minutes each, and I post about once a week. The channel is www.youtube.com/@virtualmanc

Interested to hear if anyone else has turned off monetisation and whether it helped grow the channel faster.

I am also thinking about switching to posting to twice a week also, interested to hear peoples feedback on channel growth when going from once to twice a week :)
