I have a channel that is definitely growing (currently at 2.6k subscribers after about 1 year of consistent posting) and would like it to grow a bit quicker. I am consistently getting 3-5 subscribers per day. Has anyone ever turned off monetisation to fuel growth? I am only getting around £60 per month at the moment, so I wouldn't really miss it. It is mainly tech tutorials, around 10-20 minutes each, and I post about once a week. The channel is www.youtube.com/@virtualmanc Interested to hear if anyone else has turned off monetisation and whether it helped grow the channel faster. I am also thinking about switching to posting to twice a week also, interested to hear peoples feedback on channel growth when going from once to twice a week :)

Has anybody had any success with YouTube livestreams?? I am currently sitting at 1145 Subscribers with 3004 watch hours, and I would love to hit 4000 watch hours ASAP, purely for peace of mind!! I have watched a few videos where people have mentioned that you can accelerate the watch hours by doing live streams once or twice a week. I mainly produce technical content around the Microsoft space, so I was thinking of doing a Career Q&A livestream. Just wondering if anybody has tried this and what the results were?? I appreciate any help you can provide.

Well I finally hit 1000 subscribers! I have had my channel for a few years but I only really started posted consistently in the past 6 months. I am still hovering around 2500 watch hours but that is increasing by around 115 hours a week so I expect to hit 4000 watch hours in about 3 months or so and get monetised. Maybe I'll go from 1 video a week to 2 or 3 to try and speed up that process!! I just wanted to share to inspire others and keep the motivation going!

I really didn't want to miss this weeks upload and I am working this week from the US so I will see how it goes creating a video using my laptop instead!!! They say the audio is the most important thing and I have my DJI Mic so hopefully it will turn out ok!! Interested to hesrcid other people have done similar things when travelling and how it turned out…
