Just uploaded - Still stuck!
Just uploaded a new video and I’d love to get your feedback. What do you like, and what could we improve? Think about things like the thumbnail, the title, the structure, or any other ideas you notice. Every comment helps me make better content for you. Thanks so much for your support!

Hi Rudi, Yes the video put a smile on my face once I got into the video. I felt the beginning was little slow. You got six videos that is great. You are creating momentum...good for you.

Issues loading video editor
Hi, just wondering what you guys are using for your video editors. I am trying to download and use DaVinci Resolve 18 because my graphics card is older...just finished installing new driver for it and trying to install the video editor. Why not use capcut? They legally own your videos...so I prefer not to use it. Any other free editors beside imovie, and above mentioned?

@Clementine Chaxel hi, thanks you for your reply. I will check out Daniel batal's channel. Yeah, I plan to keep it simple too. I just want to grow with my level in the future : ).

Hi I'm New Here!
Hi I'm Peggy from Kentucky in the USA. I teach watercolor tutorials on YouTube and I have a low-ticket Skool community to teach watercolor to beginners, but more detailed way than on YT. I have two goals: improve my process to come up with better video titles and thumbnails (meaning text and image), and to hone the pacing and curiosity loops in my YT videos. The tools I use are VidIQ and CreatorHooks, but still I struggle with these two goals. It takes me longer to design thumbnails than to paint and video a watercolor!! Looking forward to meeting everyone!!

Hi Peggy, Welcome! You are at the right place. Sounds like you are already learning a lot. Glad to have you here.
Need a little insight, guidance, help... Please! Alexa - Your Impression
Hello everyone! I have a couple of questions. First, I'm glad to see this sort of content. Second, I've heard you, Alexa, single mom and still made it work... I'm solo supporting, disabled, no government assistance... so, bills and eating come first before this. Having that been said, the launch of my channel has been a year in the making with the last 6 months of dedication. I have a drive for this content. It seems to be addressed from a clinical point of view, vs, any real world experience talking. That's what I'm bringing to the table. Thank you for motivating me with direction towards getting my banner done and rewriting my about page. I'm happier with it. To the point now of my questions... I have a marketing background but technology and social marketing is my Achilles heal. Are you suggesting that cross platform marketing is necessary to make YouTube work? If so, how can I make money on these other platforms posting content I'm posting on YouTube? There's contradictory information about this topic on YouTube! My Second question... There seems to be conflicting information about posting short and long form content on the same channel in regards to YouTube's algorithm. Some say, do one or the other and then have a second channel for the opposite. Is this true? My idea, was to use the short form videos to drive attention and support to my long form video topic content. Basically, use short videos to advertise my channel content. You thoughts or impressions and experience in this regard? Please!

Hello fellow creators!
Hello! My name's Clementine. It's nice to meet you all, I'm very happy to join the community. It's a true fact that being a content creator can feel lonely. I believe that sharing our knowledge and experience can help us grow together, so here I am :) I started my channel a year ago but couldn't post consistently. I'm currently on maternity/parental leave so I have more free time to dedicate to my channel and hopefully I'll have created momentum by the time I go back to work. My channel is about origami -- the art of paper folding. I post video tutorials but I don't want to do that exclusively. I found out that most creators in my niche go faceless whereas my goal is to connect with my viewers so I intend to do some talking head videos (actually already filmed some), not only about origami but also about creativity more generally, to inspire people through my experience and share what I learn along the way. I don't have many subscribers (25) and get very few comments so I don't know what content my viewers need/would like to see so it feels like driving in the fog at the moment. Still need to find my own voice and get comfortable with the tech and camera confidence. Have a great day!
