Asking AI for your blind spots
I watched Alexa’s video about this and I decided to try it. I use chat GPT quite a bit to organize video and blog ideas and posts, as well as for some other things so it has a pretty good history of me.
It was quite interesting. The blind spots that came up with they seem to be quite accurate, and my girlfriend agreed. Then I tried a trick I saw Ali Abdal mention in terms of asking the AI for a scathing criticism, and it was even more direct and somewhat more insightful. as Dan Koe emphasizes, It is true that if you learn how to use AI and you learn how to structure prompts you can get much better information and output.
I found the feedback quite useful and the more I interface with it more accurate it becomes in this type of feedback. It’s not a direct replacement for human coaching, but it is pretty interesting how much insight you can get from this especially if you use the correct prompts. It was actually pretty surprising how accurate it was considering that I haven’t been talking to it for years or anything.
If you haven’t tried this, give it a shot ~ you might be quite surprised.
