Anyone Noticed YouTube Has Now Hidden Channel Subscribers?

These last few I have noriced that YT has changed the way Channel info is displayed.

Quietly (unless I missed the announcement somewhere), but they have STOPPED DISPLAYING CHANNEL SUBSCRIBER NUMBERS as we saw them before.

What's going on?

Anyone know?
