Not many people talk about this, but this happened to me-

It was the closest I’ve gone to a depression :(

Therefore I want to warn you guys, fingers crossed 🤞 if it happens to you…

I was having my dry days in the beginning of outreaching and I used to shoot up to 40 DMs a day to get no response

One afternoon I got a text back saying

“Hey I’m doing good, please tell me more”

And then I hop on a call with her and we talked good and she said she liked my approach and would wish to proceed, and asked me to contact her after 2 days.

I kid u not, I was soo happy, I was jumping over the roof telling everyone I’m gona be a millionaire, asking my friends “what colour is your Bugatti” 🚘

2 days later I wake up and the first thing I do is text her regarding a follow up as she requested.

1 hour read

Followed up again

4 hours delivered

Followed up the next day

2 days blocked

….

I was literally staring at the wall and felt like an absolute IDIOT.

I was so done that I thought I’d never outreach again

(it was temporary ofc, the rage made me outreach 200 more people)

But the point I’m trying to make is,

Please PLEASE don’t get your hopes up TILL you get the money in the bank and till I see you spend it.
