Find a brand to practice Step-by-step
(My personal experience)
I'ma go through this very quickly:
- Pick a niche (Don't stress about it)
- Then niche down smaller and choose a sub-niche you wanna write for. (e.g., Relationship niche → Christian dating coach)
- Go on Tiktok, IG, or FB ad library.
- Use keywords in your niche to search (e.g., dating to marry advice)
- Check business profiles, look for a link in the bio, click on it, and see if they have anything to sell - courses, ebooks, etc.
If they have something to sell, that's your opportunity.
That's my way of doing it.
But after this,
I also dive into market research; basically what are they selling, what problem does it solve, who's the audience, what are their struggles, desires, goals, etc.
