So Claude Code has been getting a lot of hype recently

And I have to be 100% honest, it did not disappoint

What is it and why does it matter for construction? Claude code lets you build and run code. All you do is express what you want in plain english, and Claude will build it for you

"I want to build a tool that pulls my accounting data from Qucikbooks and compares it to my project estimates to determine my planned vs actual cost"

"I want to build a tool that checks my email daily and flags any commercial issues."

"Everytime I get a new tender, I want you to download it and update my CRM"

Literally describe what you want and Claude will build it for you. You can then run these workflows over and over again as needed

I have built some really useful tools over the last couple of weeks. Basically anytime you are moving data between software, databases, you can automate this with claude code.
