The invisible phase
One thing I wish more people talked about when building something online is the invisible phase. The period where you're: learning, posting trying to figure things out. At this stage it feels like nobody is really noticing yet. Most people quit during this stage. But the truth is, almost everyone who eventually grows might have experienced some form of invisible phase. It doesn’t mean you're doing it wrong, sometimes it just means you're on the breaking ground stage that is necessary before the growth. Have you noticed that as well, or what has been your experience building online?

Mmm… Sweet Orange 🍊
Some days, calm doesn’t come from slowing down more. It comes from reminding your body that joy is allowed here. Sweet Orange essential oil does exactly that. Not in a flashy way. Not in a “fix it” way. But in a quiet, reassuring way that says: you’re safe to soften. 🌿 Why Sweet Orange Works (The Science, Simply) Sweet Orange (Citrus sinensis) is rich in limonene—a naturally occurring compound studied for its effects on mood and stress response. Research has shown that: - Inhalation of citrus oils can lower markers of stress - Limonene may support dopamine and serotonin pathways, which are associated with motivation, pleasure, and emotional balance - Citrus aromas can reduce sympathetic nervous system activity (that “always on” feeling) In plain language? Your brain reads Sweet Orange as non-threatening. It helps the body shift out of defense and into regulation. This is why citrus oils are often used in hospitals, waiting rooms, and high-stress environments—not to sedate, but to restore emotional equilibrium. 🧡 Emotional & Nervous System Benefits Sweet Orange is especially supportive when: - You feel heavy, flat, or emotionally tired - Anxiety shows up as irritability or low-grade tension - You’re doing “all the right things” but still feel blah - Joy feels distant or earned instead of natural It supports: - Emotional lightness - Gentle optimism - Nervous system reassurance - A sense of internal spaciousness Not hype. Not bypassing. Just relief with warmth. 🫶 A Simple Practice (No Overthinking) If today feels dull, tense, or emotionally crowded: 1. Place 1 drop of Sweet Orange on a tissue or cotton pad 2. Inhale gently for 3 slow breaths 3. On the exhale, silently say: “I don’t need to force anything right now.” That’s it. No fixing. No reframing. Just a signal to the body that it can loosen its grip. 💎 A Gentle Reminder Calm doesn’t always arrive as stillness. Sometimes it arrives as permission to feel okay again.
When people say "Interested " but " disappear "
I’ve been testing something recently because I noticed a pattern… Someone would comment “interested” on my content I’d send them the info in a DM …and then silence 😅 At first I thought maybe they weren’t serious. But now I’m realizing a lot of people just don’t like clicking links or continuing convos in the DMs right away especially if they’re still unsure. So instead of sending links immediately, I’ve started asking a simple question first and keeping the convo light in the comments. I also let them talk about what they’re actually looking for. It’s taken more pressure off them… and honestly saved me from chasing people who weren’t ready. Still experimenting with it, but it’s felt more natural so far than cold follow-ups. Has anyone else noticed that people engage publicly but go quiet in private messages?
Quick content tip for anyone building online.
There are some days when I just draw a blank. Stop asking, “What should I post?” Start asking, “What question did I answer this week?” That’s your content. If someone asked you about money… write about that. If someone asked you about confidence… post about that. If someone messaged you privately… that’s a topic. You don’t need to be creative; you need to be observant. Outcome? No more blank screen. No more guessing. Just real conversations turned into content. What question have you answered recently that could become a post?
