It Has No Value

A few years back I used to dish out a lot of “value” and delivering it got me a lot of likes, but likes don’t turn into cash.

The assumption is if you deliver lots of value then eventually someone will pay you to work with you.

And it’s far from the truth.

Because value seekers are freebie seekers.

They usually like to collect dust to information that they gather.

Most times it sits in their google drive and it never gets implemented.

The interesting thing is if you often question these people on the nature of their current beleifs they are usually of sceptical nature.

The glass is always half empty not half full.

If you’re in the business of growth and leadership then this is a slippery slope for you.

Selling change to the value seeking crowd has always been extremely hard for me and to be totally honest I avoid it, just like I avoid needy people.

I received this morning a message from someone who is inside my free community and is observing how our membership model is slowly growing each day.

I asked her if she would like to step up to our next model which is not even $60 a month.

In it she would receive my 2 offer templates that are currently generating me and my paid clients an easy way to freedom.

Instead she feels it has no “value.”

I am not judging. I personally can not force someone to see more than just seeking value.

I am sure she just think I am a complete waste of time to her.

I’m more interested and excited for the people that said yes because they saw something that got them curious.

Value people like to watch paint dry.

Insight people like to dance to a different drum.

They are my people.

Be careful of people who seek value, they usually don’t find anything valuable.

Which brings me to the next question:

How does everyone feel about the free groups? I have seen some people closing them all together and focusing all together on paid communities. The energy is totally different and I am almost inclined to either close it down all together and focus my energy on my 2 paid communities.
