Building courses + Skool

Question--

Are courses being built in Skool or are they built elsewhere and hosted on Skool? I hope my question makes sense. I was using Thinkific and courses were both built and hosted there.

In looking at Uplevel, it looks as though the videos were probably created as a Keynote then uploaded which seems good and simple.

I'm starting to compare Skool against other teaching platform including having my programs hosted on my own site.
