Add links to member questions

I'd like to ask my new sign ups if they have booked an orientation call or not and if they haven't I want to provide a human friendly link they can click on to do so from the question. Is this possible?

Two related questions:

Are member questions skipped when someone is accepting an invitation sent via webhook?
If someone answers the member questions are they accepted into the group right away or are they in some sort of pending state waiting for approval?
