A problem that I had with ICM, is that I used to play a great deal of tournament poker. And ICM stands for "Independent Chip Model" which is a mathematical model that approximates a player's overall equity in an incomplete tournament based on his or her chips and the structure of th tournament.
Luckily for me, Cursor helped me find and change the name and tagging of thousands of files to clear up the semantic overlap very quickly. 😀
Having said that, using ICM has made it abundantly clear how messed up my folder structure on my Mac was. I have spent a great deal of time seperating business and personal folders, cleaning up project foldes and archives (etc etc).
That alone has been a HUGE relief.
Is anyone here using Tiago Fort'es PARA folder system (Projects, Areas, Resources, Archives) that he teaches via his BASB courses?
I am wondering how compatible it is with ICM. Or if that even matters. Many programmers here seem to have very logical and useful ways of organazing info via folders.
