I'm Gary. I run a small fractional AI advisory out of the UK but also consult for a company in Dubai. Before that, about eight years in enterprise IT and operations.
I joined because the systems first angle is genuinely rare. Most AI spaces are a treadmill of information going no where, and I've watched plenty of people relearn everything the moment a model updates. Jake's premise, that you build the structure underneath so the work lasts, is already how I think about operations, so this felt like the right fit.
What I rate about Jake is that the credibility actually holds up and the free material is genuinely good, not a common combination.
I'm ex-ops at heart. Big on process, making things repeatable, and anything that stops a business depending on one person to function. Still getting to grips with the folder architecture side, so I'm here to learn it properly rather than collect shortcuts. Good to be here, and happy to swap notes with anyone working in ops or professional services.
