Why Everything Feels Harder Than It Should
When you’ve been in go‑mode for too long showing up, managing emotions, making decisions, holding space for everyone your nervous system eventually gets tired. I am not talking about the not tired like “I need a nap". But the tired like “I can’t keep holding all of this.”
That’s when everything starts to feel harder than it should. Those simple tasks feel to heavy. The small decisions that should be automatic feel complicated and when rest doesn’t feel restful anymore. This isn't because you’re lazy or unfocused it’s because your system is overloaded.
It feels like there is something wrong or broken in your body but this is your body trying to find a way to feel safe again.
The work isn’t to push through what is happening but it is to slow yourself down enough to listen to what your system has been trying to say all along.
What does your system need most today?
