I just learned this today and maybe some of you have not heard this yet either.
Creators who tested Skool + YouTube have found that Skool’s default embed sometimes does not send the view back to YouTube analytics unless you force a proper watch URL with a parameter. The simple fix they use is:
- If your link already has a question mark in it (it has other parameters), add: &views
- If your link has no question mark yet (plain watch URL), add: ?views
This forces Skool to treat it as a standard YouTube watch URL, and tests from Skool/YouTube creators show those clicks then show up as views on the channel.
