Most creators talk about content…community…modules…features…
But none of that matters if you can’t answer one simple question:
What is your OFFER?
Not your group. (Pewee)
Not your classroom. (Nahhh)
Not your features. (Rubbish)
Your OFFER —the thing that makes people say:
“This is for me.
This solves my problem.
This person gets me.”
Now ask yourself:
Does your About Page actually present a UNIQUE OFFER that benefits the person joining?
Or is it just:
- “Here’s my group… join if you want.”
- “We talk about X topic.”
- “We’re a community for Y.”
That’s not an offer. That’s a description.
People don’t join because they’re informed.
They join because they feel seen.
So here’s the deeper question:
What about your About Page makes their problem feel understood?
What line speaks directly to their pain point?
What sentence reflects their invisible battle?
You have to give them a piece of yourself first.
Yes — it feels counterintuitive. Yes — it feels like “oversharing.”
But when people feel seen…they come back again and again for that feeling.
Community isn’t built on information. It's built on recognition.
If you want people to join you, show them that you already understand what they’re fighting.
As always —give me a shout. I’d love to chat it up with you.
