This month inside The Shine Lounge, I matched women one-to-one for the first round of our handwritten Pen Pal Exchange.
Monday, I sent the matches.
I paused before pressing send.
It felt small.
It felt simple.
It felt bigger than I expected.
Within minutes the reactions started rolling in.
Wide eyes.
Happy dances.
One dramatic fainting GIF that made me laugh out loud.
They weren’t polite responses.
They were excited.
And I felt something I didn’t expect.
Not “it worked.”
But “this matters.”
In a space where we’re all building visibility, strategy, growth…
Something about slowing down and writing a letter landed deeply.
