I've been thinking about how much has changed
over the past few months.
Does anyone else remember the early days of creating images with ChatGPT?
I remember experimenting, trying all kinds of prompts, and hoping the image in my head would magically appear on the screen. 😄
Fast forward to today, and it's amazing how far ChatGPT Images has come. The quality, the accuracy, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and even generating readable text are all dramatically better than they were at the beginning of the year.
But I think something else has changed too.
We've become better at communicating with it.
When I first started, I'd write a short prompt and hope for the best. If it wasn't what I imagined, I'd often be disappointed.
Now I think about it differently.
If I were hiring a designer, I wouldn't just say, "Make me a Pinterest pin," and expect them to know exactly what I was picturing. I'd explain who it's for, the style I want, the colors, the message, and the overall feeling I'm trying to create.
ChatGPT works much the same way.
Short prompts are still fun, and sometimes they create something surprisingly brilliant. Other times, they're wonderfully unexpected. 😊
But when I'm creating images for my business, I've found that taking an extra minute to describe what I actually want almost always leads to a much better result.
For me, the biggest change this year hasn't just been how much ChatGPT Images has improved.
It's been learning how to work with it instead of expecting it to read my mind.🤔
What's one thing you've learned about creating images with ChatGPT that has made the biggest difference for you?
