I have a senior leadership job, two kids under nine and about 15 hours a week to build something of my own.

So instead of following advice written for people who've already quit, I run my business like a series of experiments.

Every 30 days: one specific action, tracked daily, every number reported publicly.

This month's experiment: YouTube. One video a week for 30 days in a channel I haven't posted in for 7 months and were I used to post about leadership but now am going to post about building a business.

I just posted Video 1 sharing my first two experiments worth of data, and the honest behind-the-scenes of what growing a business actually looks like when your life is already full.
