Dogs don't always stop moving when something hurts.
More often than not they just move differently.
A bit more weight on one leg.
A different way of sitting or laying.
A hesitation before jumping.
A bit of a hop when they walk.
Small changes that are easy to dismiss because they're not dramatic.
Dogs don't hide pain, they compensate.
So if you're waiting for a limp... You're waiting until your dog can't compensate any longer.
❤️ Don't just look for when your dog is struggling. Look for how they're adapting.
