Being Messy Works
I used to treat every post like it had to sound finished and impressive. Then I tried writing the way I actually talk when I’m tired and still working stuff out (and after a wine or two).
The thing that surprised me most about being authentic was how quiet it got at first. People didn’t rush in. A few just sat with it. What I learned when I stopped smoothing every edge was that the conversations that did show up felt different, more honest. Leaving the messy bits in changed how I felt about showing up at all.
What’s one thing you used to tidy up before posting that you now just leave as it is?
