Being Messy Works
I used to treat every post like it had to sound finished and impressive. Then I tried writing the way I actually talk when I’m tired and still working stuff out (and after a wine or two). The thing that surprised me most about being authentic was how quiet it got at first. People didn’t rush in. A few just sat with it. What I learned when I stopped smoothing every edge was that the conversations that did show up felt different, more honest. Leaving the messy bits in changed how I felt about showing up at all. What’s one thing you used to tidy up before posting that you now just leave as it is?

Are You on Skool Because of AI Induced Job Anxiety?
According to a recent Careerminds survey of 1,000 professionals who hold both a full-time job and a second stream of income, 64.1% of workers now build a side hustle out of job-security anxiety. While generating extra cash remains a primary goal (93.2%), the underlying motives have shifted dramatically toward defensive career management: - Layoff Buffer: 37.5% - Retirement Savings: 37.9% - Skill-Building: 34.9% - Passion Projects: 34.9% The trend is even more pronounced among younger corporate professionals: 69.4% of Gen Z and 63.6% of Millennials view their side hustle as career insurance. Recent data from the US Federal Reserve and financial media giant Bankrate confirms that secondary income among middle-income and university qualified professionals has surged well past pre-pandemic levels. What's your prime motivation for creating a Skool community?

Hey everyone! 👋 Happy Monday From Oz!
As we kick off a new week, I wanted to share a quick thought on Personal & Life Strategy for everyone building (or planning) their side hustle. A lot of folks come into skool communities thinking they need to master 10 different software tools or write massive business plans. But true strategy starts with ONE question: "What does my ideal week look like?" Whether you want to work 10 hours a week from a beach or run an active consulting practice, design the life first, then fit the business around it! What's one lifestyle goal you're building your side hustle around this week? Drop it in the comments below! 👇

@Valerie Hail I learnt long ago that building an ideal life is way easier and more important than building a mythical ideal business.

Most side hustles fail because people keep adding
Another platform. Another funnel. Another “must-have” tool. Another offer variation. Then they wonder why it feels heavier than the job they just left. Strategic subtraction is the opposite play. It is a side hustle built by taking things *off* the plate — until what remains is the one thing you already know how to do, for people who already need it. If you are a corporate veteran, retiree, consultant, author or coach, you do not need a bigger stack. You need a smaller one. Three subtraction moves that actually pay: 1. Cut the offer down to one sentence. “I help [this person] get [this result] without [this overwhelm].” If you cannot say it that cleanly, the market cannot buy it. 2. Drop one tool this week. If you have not opened it in 14 days, it is not a system. It is clutter. Move the work into the two or three tools you already use. 3. Stop creating “just in case” content. Publish one useful piece that answers a real question your last client actually asked. Then stop. Consistency beats volume. You already have the experience. The hustle is not to invent a new identity. It is to remove everything that hides the one you already have. Join the conversation inside The Expert Society and we will help you subtract the noise so your offer can actually earn.

@Des Dreckett ditch them. It's amazing the amount of energy you free up when you get rid of "the noise" not to mention the $$$$ savings which go straight to the bottom line. This is the easiest side hustle that everybody should deploy
