Are you a deadbeat?
Did you know credit card companies have a name for their least profitable customers?
The ones who regularly use their cards, but pay their balance off in full each month before interest starts accruing?
Yep.
That term? Deadbeat.
That's right. You're a deadbeat to credit card companies if you don't pay them interest! Who know such a negative word could carry such positive meaning?
It took some time, but I'm a proud deadbeat! I cost credit card companies money by getting the points and paying off my balance in full each month. It didn't happen overnight, but the steps to doing it are actually pretty straightforward.
Over the next few days, I'll be sharing 5 steps to becoming credit card company's least profitable customer. Here's step number 1!
STEP 1️⃣- If you're not paying off your balance every month, stop using your card until you can. Getting points is NOT doing you any favors and the annual interest you pay is 20x the rewards. Can't stop yourself? Delete the saved card info from your favorite online shopping sites. Cut up the card. Fill a gallon bag with water, drop the card in, and put in the freezer. The point is to make it harder to use your card so you can break the habit.

Need some help on your journey towards becoming a deadbeat? I help women wipe out $50k+ in debt with the exact system that got me out of mine.
