Social Media SEO

I was recently introduced to a concept I wanted to run by everyone; social media SEO. The premise is that you would "optimize" your YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn etc. posts (those that show in SERPs) and have it ideally align with your website SEO. This make a lot of sense to me. I write a couple of blogs per month, how would I create a prompt that would align all of this as part of a monthly plan? I have a couple of ideas but I'd like to make sure I'm not missing something on my quest to include SM SEO in my content. Thanks!
