Halloween & Day of the Dead!
We will be setting up a memorial alter today at the studio and if you would like to bring in a picture of a loved one who has passed (or an item that reminds you of them) for our alter, please bring to any class and we'll leave the alter up until next weekend (Nov 7th). We would love to host a small, potluck celebration on Sunday Nov 1st, Day of the Dead, from 11 am - 1 pm, to give our community an opportunity to share about their loved ones and hold space for grief, love, joy, and all other emotional that come up during this special time of year. Since children often process grief through play, we will be sure to have the climbing wall open. Please join me, Lesley, this Saturday for a fun day of Halloween themed classes! You can bet I'll be dressed up and I welcome you to join in the costume fun if you feel so inclined. Happy Halloween!

Poison Oak
If you ever thought, like me, "I don't react to poison oak. I've been running through it my whole life and never got a rash." I'm here to humbly tell you that it is true the more exposure you have, the more likely you are at some point to get it... bad... And it can take up to a week to experience the symptoms. In case you don't know what poison oak looks like. I'll attach a picture here. Remember: "Leaves of 3 let it be!" But sometimes it might just be a dry stick with no leaves that still have oil on it... The leaves can turn from green to red in Fall. Wishing you all the best from my oatmeal bath. Thankful for Urgent Care & Steriods. I am arranging for subs for my classes today.... and maybe tomorrow... Please join us in class and keep your own immune system strong as we enter Fall!

Park Clean Up opportunity
Hi friends, if you're free before the sound bath on the 27th there will be a big community park clean up at Joe Dancer Park from 10 am - 12 pm. My husband and I will be there and would love to have you join us! Many hands make light work! Our beloved Joe Dancer Park could definitely use the help before the big Autumn rains come and all the trash gets swept into the river...
