Word of the Week: Replenish
Last week was a lot for me.
Super Bowl Sunday.
Miles turned 16 on Wednesday.
Baseball team event also on Wednesday.
Two games Saturday.
Valentine’s Day Saturday night.
And — as usual — juggling two jobs, prioritizing daily morning workouts and prayer.
Full calendar. Full house. Full life.
And limited time and energy.
I know I’m not unique.
Your week probably looked different — but just as full.
Deadlines. Family. Work. Expectations. Never-ending to-dos.
Life doesn’t slow down.
Which is exactly why this week’s word matters:
REPLENISH
To replenish means to fill up again.
To restore what has been used.
To return to strength.
Most adults aren’t unmotivated.
They’re depleted.
Depleted from:
• Constant output
• Hormone shifts
• Poor sleep
• Blood sugar swings
• Stress
• Screens
• Giving to everyone else first
You cannot lead, love, perform, or build from an empty tank.
Replenishment is not indulgence.
It’s responsibility.
For me, replenishing means:
• Protecting sleep again
• Water & electrolytes before caffeine
• Protein consistently
• Lifting and moving
• Breathing before reacting
• Quiet time with God
Small resets.
Because the goal isn’t perfection.
It’s restoration.
REPLENISH Challenge
Good:
Pause once today and ask, “What do I need right now?”
Better:
Identify which of your 7 Daily Primal Needs feels most depleted — and start there.
Best:
Recommit to all 7 Daily Primal Needs this week — not perfectly, but intentionally.
