Word of the Week: Reflect
Have you taken time to reflect on 2025? Not just what went wrong — but your wins, your victories, and everything you’re genuinely grateful for? Have you also looked honestly at: - The obstacles you faced - The challenges that stretched you - The habits or patterns that held you back Reflection matters. In an ideal world, I would do some form of reflection daily — and when I do, I’m at the top of my game. I’m clearer, calmer, more grounded, and more aligned with how I actually want to live. This isn’t a new-age idea. I first learned this practice back in 2010 while taking a course at the Mercy Center, centered around The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius — a practice that’s over 500 years old, used by the Jesuits to cultivate clarity, discernment, gratitude, and alignment. Reflection is time-proven. It helps us: - Cut through the noise - Stay focused on what matters - Learn from the past without living in it - Make better decisions moving forward It also connects directly to what we talked about last week — EASE. My central theme for 2026 is EASE, and reflection is one of the most powerful tools I know to create it. When we pause to reflect: - Life feels less reactive - Decisions feel lighter - We stop repeating the same mistakes - We move forward with more intention and less force Reflection helps us live with clarity instead of chaos. Reflection prompts (take 5 minutes): - What went right for me in 2025? - What am I most grateful for? - What challenged me — and what did it teach me? - What do I want to do differently moving forward? If you’d like help slowing down, reflecting, and turning this into a clear plan for 2026, I’m hosting a Virtual Goal-Setting Session this Wednesday @ 4:30 PM PST, where we’ll walk through this together step by step. Here is the zoom link: Zoom I’m also opening another round of my 14- & 21-Day Detox for those who want a simple, structured reset — physically and mentally — as we head into the new year. It’s not a long-term lifestyle, but it can be a powerful way to reset habits and regain momentum.
