Need Help Integrating VAPI with Make and Airtable

Hey everyone 👋

I’ve been trying to build an automation using Make.com, VAPI, and Airtable — where I trigger a call to a warehouse rep once a new Airtable record is added. Everything’s connected properly (API key, Assistant ID, phone number, mapped fields, etc.), but I keep running into a 400 Bad Request error.

The error message says:

"property phone should not exist",

"property assistant_id should not exist",

"property variables should not exist"

It seems like VAPI is expecting a different JSON structure, but I’ve tried a few variations and nothing seems to work.

If anyone here has successfully connected VAPI to Make, I’d be super grateful if you could take a look or point me in the right direction. 🙏
