👋 Welcome to TradBowhunter - Ethical Predator
If you’re here, it’s because you believe something most people don’t: How you hunt matters. Not just the result - the process. This community is for traditional bowhunters who value: - Ethics over shortcuts - Discipline over gear - Process over outcome - Tradition as something you live, not just talk about You don’t have to prove anything here. You just have to respect the craft. My name is Jenn Richardson, my husband, Grant Richardson and I created this group, TradBowhunter - Ethical Predator. This is a passion piece for Grant and I...My hubby, the subject matter expert with Traditional Bowhunting as well as an author, podcast host and 3rd generation traditional bowhunter. We wanted to bring like minded people together and create a place to share their experiences with traditional bowhunting. 🧭 HOW THIS COMMUNITY WORKS (IMPORTANT) There are two valid paths here - both are respected. 🟢 Free Members Some bowhunters: - Learn quietly - Practice when they can - Improve steadily over time That path is welcome here. 🔥 Premium Members (Optional) Others want: - Structure - A repeatable shot process - Coaching instead of guessing Premium exists for clarity and progression, not status. 👉 You never need Premium to belong. It's about timing - not commitment. 🚦 DO THIS FIRST (2 MINUTES) 1️⃣ Introduce Yourself (Do This Now) Create a post and answer one or two of these: - Where are you shooting from? - How long have you been shooting traditional? - What’s the ONE thing you want to improve right now? Short posts are perfect. 2️⃣ Start in the Classroom Go to the Classroom and begin with: 👉 Start Here This will save you months of trial and error. 3️⃣ Engage Once This Week You don’t need to post every day. Just: - Comment on one post - Ask one question - Share one small win

Broadhead choice
So for my bear hunt this year these are my 3 choices of broadhead to choose from. A 3 blade razorhead, a 2 blade single bevel grizzly, or two blade ace express. I also have the two blade single bevel razorhead but at that point I think id rather go with the grizzly I dont love how small the razorheads are. I may even consider a vpa 3 blade. I really like 3 blades but I dont have any vpa right now. I haven't shot the ace yet but I hear really good things. The grizzly and razorhead both shoot like a dream. Took my first deer with one of these Grizzlies. Which of these would you choose?

Venison stuffed peppers
Fry together 1/2 cup of onions 3 to 4 cloves of garlic 1 lbs ground venison Until cooked. Add a can of your choice of tomato/spaghetti sauce (I used bolognese sauce), about 1 1/2 cups of cooked rice and half a cup of shredded cheese. Stir together and continue cooking for a couple minutes. While this is cooking cut the tops off your peppers, clean out the insides, drizzle them with a small amount of cooking oil, place on a baking sheet and bake at about 350F for 15 minutes. Then spoon your venison mix into the peppers, top with more shredded cheese. Baked for an additional 10 minutes to melt cheese. Enjoy!

Tradbow Ethical Predator Group Shooting Challenge #1
Ok folks we are launching our first shooting challenge! Trace a pop can in the center of the plate. Draw a half inch black dot in the middle- 10 pts for the center, 5 pts for the circle outside and 1 for the rest! These will follow some of the shooting drills I teach! we will shoot from Thursday to Thursday- if you miss a day just date it and shoot again but try to shoot each day! I will announce the winner on the fireside chat next week - who will get one of our awesome vinyl waterproof Traditional Bowhunter decals sent to them! Rules- 3 arrows but only one at a time. At a distance of ten yards only! So shoot an arrow - pull it and shoot again and mark the date ! the key is that I want you to open and close your eyes visualizing the center black mark before each shot happens. So nock arrow- look at center close eyes and repeat 3 times before each shot. When you close your eyes - visualize the arrow hitting the black mark in the center the draw and shoot. Remember to pull each arrow n this is a basic drill for focus and concentration. TALLY your scores daily and ADD THEM BELOW! here with a picture of your plate and tally. Good luck and have fun! You’ve got a week from today so get shooting! Plate example attached in the comments!
