What’s In A Name

I was wondering why some perfumers give such odd names to their fragrances such as Cosmic Pepper, Mango Aoud, Ingenious Ginger , Blue Matcha, etc. Names like this don’t entice me to try the product so I’m asking the group how the name of a perfume influences you to try the fragrance. And can anyone tell me how fragrances acquire their monikers? I really liked Cosmic Pepper, for example, but wouldn’t have thought the name reflected how great a fragrance this is. Any thoughts out there?
