Thoughts on YSL Y EDP & my weird take

What are everyone's thoughts on Y EDP, and generally, what does it smell like to you? I ask because sometimes for me it smells light, fresh, airy, and sweet and is exactly the kind of thing I want to wear everyday.

However, after about a month of owning it I occasionally noticed it smell bitter and sour to me. Sometimes I noticed it in the opening, and sometimes in the dry down. I've tried out other bottles and gotten the same thing from them too. Does anyone else get the bitterness sometimes and is this supposed to be what it smells like? I'd like to figure out to avoid it in case I am doing something wrong, like spraying it too close or far away from my skin or something.
