SOTD: Salted Citrus
It's pushing 100 degrees (F) today, so I went with my newest acquisition. This is a new release from Montagne, but unlike many of their offerings, this one is an original.
What is it like? I'll set the scene for you. You walk outside your beach house and are hit with the smell of lemons someone cut up for lemonade. The sharpness of the citrus is cut by the salty sea air surrounding you. The weathered wood of the porch fills in the olfactory gaps.
This is a very no-nonsense linear fragrance, although the woodiness creeps in a bit later. It's very much summer in a bottle. It can fit pretty much any situation. A board meeting with the CEO? You could make it work, but you could find better options. But a nice choice for everyday wear and perfect for more casual times. It's not mind blowing or game changing, but it's an easy reach on hot summer days.
I've had it for about two weeks, so it's getting close to being fully primed. I can easily see this one working its way into the rotation for the next month or so.
