Good morning fragrance fanatics!

I’m sure some of you may have already seen this, but I thought it was interesting enough to share with the hood.

My biggest takeaway? The gum share part almost immediately had me like wait… what?! 😂

What really caught my attention though was the conversation around maceration vs. maturation. Now I’m over here questioning everything… have I been using these terms wrong this whole time?

From what they’re saying, maceration seems to happen more during the product development phase, while maturation comes later. That said, it sounds like this can really depend on the fragrance house and the size of their operation.
