Mind Games / Longevity !!!

Ever want a fragrance to last forever… and you swear it’s still going even though it’s been dead for hours?

Like you keep getting “phantom whiffs” and you’re thinking, no way it’s gone yet, but realistically it’s been nuked off your skin since lunchtime. I think it’s a mix of:

your brain kinda replaying the scent because you were focused on performance
scent memory/association (especially if you love it or you were anxious about longevity)
a tiny trace stuck on clothes/hair that tricks you into thinking the whole thing is still projecting
and sometimes you just catch one random whiff and your mind fills in the rest like “yup, still beast mode”

Anyone else do this? What’s a fragrance that had you convinced it was still there when it definitely wasn’t?
