Getting Serious About ATH

I found a bunch of 5ml and 10ml Aaron Terence Hughes decants on Rescented and am going to be busy sampling for a while. Lol. Here's what I picked up: Blue Fever, Boss Bastard, Kayos, Legend, Notorious, Onyx Air, Oud Noir, Patchouli Noir, Raw Cherry, Slut, Supernova, and Supersonic.

First up for me ... Notorious.

This is a sweet, citrus, borderline gourmand fragrance from ATH and it's outstanding.

The opening reminds me of the "light orange cloud" vibe of MFK's Grand Soir mixed with the candy bar "nougat" note found in Check Please from Mind Games. Others refer to the opening as an addictive orange cream-sicle, and I can understand that.

Top notes: Mandarin Orange, Bergamot, Lemon

Mid: Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Heliotrope, Leather

Base: Rum, Cedar, Patchouli

This one won't play nicely with the Vegas heat, so it will be a fall and winter evening/date night wear for me. So far, as you would expect with ATH, performance seems to be great but it's only my first full wear. Fragrantica's rating is 4.47/5. Parfumo's rating is 8.2/10.

Anyone else try this one? Thoughts?
