Day Seven of my Aromatix X fragrance reviews
Today in 4th spot - Aromatix X Magnetiq
Inspired by YSL Myslf EDP / Amouage Reflection Man
At first spray the opening starts bright and fresh with bergamot, lavender and pink pepper, giving the scent a crisp citrus sparkle mixed with an aromatic herbal feel. The bergamot brings a zesty freshness while the pink pepper adds a gentle spicy lift, and the lavender smooths everything out with a clean, slightly soapy elegance.
As it settles, the fragrance becomes softer and more refined as orange blossom, neroli and irisemerge in the heart, giving the scent a lightly floral, slightly powdery smoothness that feels polished and sophisticated rather than overly sweet. The florals blend with musk and rosemary, adding a clean aromatic character that keeps the fragrance fresh and versatile.
In the dry down the composition becomes warmer and more structured with cedarwood, sandalwood and amber forming a smooth woody base, while vanilla and oakmoss add a subtle creamy sweetness and earthy depth that lingers on the skin. A hint of myrrh brings a slightly resinous warmth that gives the fragrance a more mature finish.
Performance is solid for this style of scent, typically lasting around 6–8 hours with moderate projection, leaving a clean, woody-aromatic trail that feels refined and very wearable.
Overall rating: 8.4/10
Magnetiq comes across as smooth, fresh and quietly confident - the kind of fragrance that works effortlessly for everyday wear, the office or casual evenings, giving off a polished and modern vibe without ever feeling overpowering, so 4th spot for me. It has a subtle inspiration of Myslf EDP but not fully inspired by - in my opinion anyway.
