Aromatix X Forbidden Fruit
Day Eight of my Aromatix X fragrance reviews
Today in 3rd spot - Aromatix X Forbidden Fruit
Inspired by Lorenzo Pazzaglia Sun-gria
At first spray the opening is bright and attention-grabbing with blood orange and bergamot, giving a vibrant citrus burst, while cardamom adds a subtle spicy twist that keeps it from feeling too simple. It’s fresh but also slightly rich, almost like a citrus cocktail rather than a standard fresh scent.
As it settles, the fragrance becomes more playful and addictive with red apple and peach taking centre stage, creating a juicy, slightly sweet fruitiness that feels full and mouth-watering without being overly syrupy. There’s also a unique margarita accord and soft rose underneath that gives it a slightly boozy, smooth character, adding depth and making it feel more grown-up than a typical fruity scent.
In the dry down, the fragrance turns warmer and more comforting as vanilla, amber and sandalwoodcome through, wrapping the fruitiness in a creamy, slightly resinous base. Benzoin and musk smooth everything out, giving it a soft, skin-like warmth that lingers and feels polished rather than heavy.
Performance is solid on me, generally giving me 6–8+ hours with moderate to strong projection early on, leaving a fruity-amber trail that’s noticeable but not overwhelming.
Overall rating: 8.7/10
This feels vibrant, juicy and slightly seductive - like a fruity cocktail evolving into a warm vanilla-amber finish - making it perfect for evenings, cooler spring days or anytime you want something playful yet refined with a bit of depth; it is so addictive. I can’t compare it to its inspiration of Sun-gria as never tried it so for what it is, 3rd spot for me.
