The Stress We Don't Notice
Completely forgot to hit post last night 🤦🏽♀️ Day 16 of 30 Today I deleted over 12,000 emails. No reading each one. No scrolling. Just click → select all → delete. It hit me how much low-grade stress we carry from things we’ve normalized. Unread emails. Notifications. Mental clutter we keep telling ourselves we’ll “get to later.” None of these feel stressful on their own—but together, they keep our nervous system on edge. Stress management isn’t only about big life problems. It’s also about reducing the constant background noise in our lives. Sometimes managing stress looks like: Clearing digital clutter Simplifying systems Letting go of things that no longer need your attention If something is quietly draining you, you’re allowed to release it—without guilt. What’s one small thing you could “delete” this week to create more mental space? (Emails, commitments, expectations, habits) Small actions. Big relief. 💜
