Multi-Crafter - Not Enough Hours in the Day!
I haven’t met a craft that I don’t like or want to try! I tend to cycle through things and then return to them later. Right now I’m engrossed in geometric drawing, Ukrainian egg decorating, Japanese washi paper egg decorating, weaving (floor loom and rigid heddle loom), and calligraphy (pointed pen). Oh, for the past few months, basket weaving, of course. My trusty side kick is Modi whose favorite hobbies are chasing squirrels up trees and napping in sun spots.

Hello!
Hello Everyone! I have been weaving baskets for over twenty years now. I am excited to learn how to teach better from this community as well as get inspired by all of your projects and basket endeavors. Some of my other hobbies include natural dyeing, spinning yarn, knitting, weight lifting and hand balancing, yoga, and backpacking. My weaving sidekicks are often Cheri and Bailey the other two members of the Textile Indie team. They keep me motivated, encouraged and help me continue to move forward. There wouldn't be a Textile Indie without them. I am looking forward to weaving with you. Happy making!
Greetings
Pleased to be joining this skool group! Though I am well-versed at painting (having been a pro designer of alpha shirts in Hawai’i’i) I have never ever made a basket or dyed anything. I love Brittany’s market basket design and find it most practical for gardening. So many other designs are also compelling and lovely. I have ordered and received all of the supplies for my first market basket and hope to be getting started by mid June. I have been delayed by several deaths in my family.
Welcome! We'd love to get to know you
