Book Feature Friday - Week 20 - Law #20: The Law of Explosive Growth
“To add growth, lead followers. To multiply growth, lead leaders.” - John C. Maxwell Hey Leaders, If you want addition - lead followers. If you want multiplication - develop leaders. This law challenges us to shift from managing people to empowering leaders. When you invest in leaders, your influence expands far beyond your own capacity. Great leaders don’t build fans; they build other leaders. They mentor, empower, delegate authority, and create space for others to rise. Reflect: - Who are the leaders you are intentionally developing? - How are you creating opportunities for others to lead? - What could “multiplying growth” look like in your organization? Your legacy is not in what you accomplish - but in the leaders you raise. - Dr. Joe P.S. Better People…Better World.

Thinkers Thursday: "A New Kind of Gratitude for Leaders" - Crucial Learning Article
Hey Leaders, This week, I came across a powerful piece from Crucial Learning called “A New Gratitude.” It hit me right between the eyes - in the best way possible. Read it here: A New Gratitude | Crucial Learning The author talks about how gratitude isn’t just something we feel - it’s something we can actually practice, intentionally, especially during the tough moments. And as leaders, that part is key. Because leadership is full of challenges, frustrations, and unexpected curveballs. Gratitude doesn’t eliminate any of that…but it changes how we show up inside it. Here’s what stood out to me: 1. Gratitude can be a discipline, not just an emotion. 2. It helps us see people with more compassion and less judgment. 3. When we look at difficult situations with gratitude, we often find meaning we would’ve missed. It’s easy to be thankful when things are smooth. But real leadership shows up when we choose gratitude in the middle of chaos, conflict, or discomfort. Try this today: Before you walk into your next meeting, ask yourself: “What (or who) in this situation can I practice gratitude for?” You’ll be surprised at how it clears your mind, softens your tone, and strengthens your influence. Reflection: Where in your leadership could gratitude change your perspective this week? Drop your thoughts - I’d love to hear how you’re applying this. – Dr. Joe P.S. Better People…Better World.
