Hello Everyone!
Hello everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself and share a little about my aviation journey. I started flight training back in 1997 while in college and earned my CFI in 2001. Timing wasn’t exactly on my side back then, so I stepped away from flying for a while — and when I tried to return, the 2008 recession hit.
It hasn’t been the most direct or traditional path to a major airline, but I’ve kept moving forward. Over the past decade, I’ve flown the CRJ, Falcon 20, instructed in the simulator on the E170/175, and built solid experience across a few different operations.
Right now, I’m flying the DC-9 at a Part 121 cargo operator, and I’m continuing to work toward getting back to a regional or a major soon.
Aviation hasn’t always made it easy, but I’m still here, still pushing, and still chasing the dream. Thanks for reading and for all the support along the way! ✈️💙
