Using Game Footage for social promos

Hey guys -

I was reading a post by

about using Gen AI for visuals and wanted to share another approach I’ve been using — recording my own gameplay footage from video games.

A recent piece I wrote had a strong sci-fi vibe, so I retroactively recorded some footage of myself flying a spaceship in No Man’s Sky — and it ended up fitting the music really well.

Attached is a short video of what I did for my latest release.

Has anyone else tried this technique?
