WIN / STRUGGLE / WHAT’S NEXT
WIN: I’ve been deep in the work on The Rise & Recode Method, and it’s coming together in a powerful way. It’s going to take time to shape it the way it deserves, but every piece is falling into place. This one is going to be worth the wait. Big momentum. Very exciting. STRUGGLE: I had a five mile trail race his morning and things fell apart around mile three. I didn’t hit the mark on hydration or nutrition yesterday, and I paid for it today. My run training has been lacking too so that probably didn’t help. Anyway, I should have spent more of yesterday thinking about what I would need for today. WHAT’S NEXT: I’m reframing the whole experience as a lesson — a reminder to practice exactly what I teach in AIR. I know better, so I’ll do better next time. Good Morning AIR Fam!
What systems do you have in place to protect your serenity? Are you willing to remove toxic people from your life if it means protecting your peace? Last night I was reading The Dark Side of Discipline, and something hit me that I hadn’t really considered before… Most of us build a to-do list without thinking twice. But we almost never build a to-NOT-do list — the habits, people, environments, and patterns we need to step away from to stay aligned with who we’re becoming. It’s wild how powerful that shift can be. Just something to think about today.
