Not done any deals as new on here, but have found out that builder has not been paid and has walked off site on a 3 house development at the back of my sisters house which is 90% finished they are 2 bedroom houses and are shared ownership with local council who priced them at £390k each and use their own Developement Company to build them.

I don't know why they haven't been paid, have spoke on phone to Developer and he was shocked I rang as they only walked off 2 days ago and was trying desperately to say nothing was wrong he asked me to send email, but thought id get some feedback.on here first.

They would probably. want a NDA in place which is understandable.

My thinking was if they do need help getting them complete was to find Investor as don't think I can fund it myself , and possibly put 2nd charge against mortgaged part and ask for a small % of any. future sale and 1-2% of monthly rental for the lifetime of the properties.

I have not done any figures as such ! just wanted to know if you think a local Authority would give me the time of day or if it would be worthwhile for an investor ( dependent on how much investment).
