MOVING MOUNTAINS — The Divine Calling For Us To Embody Divine Power, Not Just Love
The Divine Quality Most Christians Never Experience For those who don’t know me, there is one particular aspect of the Divine experience that I never truly encountered during all my years in Evangelical Christianity. I only discovered it after I was willing to step outside the mold of traditional Evangelical thinking. Once you step outside of it, you begin to see how tightly the Divine relationship is controlled by institution, vernacular, and tradition. That Divine quality is power. --- The Divine Qualities Of The Soul In the yogic teachings, the Divine qualities mirror what the Bible teaches about the nature of God and the fruits of the Spirit. But they are often condensed into eight primary attributes: Love, Light, Wisdom, Joy, Peace, Power, Calmness, And Sound. Under each of these are many expressions. For example: Under love is forgiveness. Under power is self-control and spiritual strength. Under joy is laughter and enthusiasm. My guru, Paramahansa Yogananda, taught me the value of embodying fortitude, divine will, and spiritual power through meditation. --- The Missing Discipline In Modern Christianity And honestly, this is something most modern Christianity simply does not teach. Instead, what we often get is a kind of designer spirituality — Sunday talk therapy with maybe a 10-minute morning reading… otherwise largely devoid of disciplined spiritual practice. You know I’m right lol. But real transformation comes through concentration, meditation, and the integration of divine qualities into our awareness. It happens when the heart and mind agree. Belief in the mind. Conviction in the heart. When those two align, real change begins. --- What Jesus Actually Taught About Faith This is exactly what Jesus was pointing to. In the Gospel of Matthew he says that if you believe and do not doubt, you can say to this mountain, “Move,” and it will move. Truly, nothing will be impossible for you. This same conviction and faith is what the great spiritual masters of history embodied.

WHY YOUR LIKES AND DISLIKES ARE QUIETLY DISTORTING YOUR REALITY✨🐉
Did you know that all your branding, all your likes and dislikes, all your notions and preferences about how things should be — can quietly distort your perception and slow down your spiritual progress? The moment we dig in our heels and say: “I believe this.” “I don’t like that.” “I agree with this.” “I reject that.” …we start building walls inside the mind. And what we are essentially saying to God, to truth itself, is something like this: “Give me what I already agree with. Everything else, push it away.” But what if wisdom, clarity, nuance, and deeper understanding are hiding inside the very things we currently disagree with? If we cling too tightly to our preferences, we risk choosing comfort over truth. We risk choosing ego over insight. --- --- THE PATH OF CLARITY This is not the path of enlightenment. This is not the path of intuition. This is not the path of self-realization. If you truly want to see clearly, if you are hungry for truth — hungry enough to become a little uncomfortable — then a different approach is required. Observe. Without judgment. Without immediately sorting everything into “like” or “dislike.” Because the moment judgment quiets down, something extraordinary happens. Perception deepens. Intuition awakens. Truth becomes easier to recognize. --- --- THE SCIENCE OF SELF-REALIZATION This is why I wish everyone could learn yoga. And no, I don’t mean the poses (although those are great). I mean the science of yoga — the path of self-realization described by the great masters. Starting with Patanjali and the Yoga Sutras, which laid the foundations for understanding the mind and transcending the ego. In the yogic tradition, yoga literally means union with the Divine. Through meditation and inner discipline, you begin learning how to create a little space between you and the constant noise of the mind. That space is where clarity begins. I personally learn from the Kriya Yoga tradition of Yogananda, which teaches very practical methods for calming the mind and awakening deeper perception.

THE ETERNAL OM — AN ETERNAL SOURCE OF SECURITY, COMFORT, AND POWER 🕉️
——— I enjoy updating you all on my crazy spiritual journey. I swallowed the red pill and now you’re all screwed 🤣. Kidding. My journey is ever evolving. And being an analytical, thoughtful person — especially someone who wants to do things right — the mind can be a great asset… but it can also be a great enemy. My greatest enemy besides attachment has always been the wayward mind and the critical mind. Two modes that have produced so much unnecessary suffering. Restlessness. Second-guessing. Narrating everything. Trying to optimize existence instead of living it. --- --- So I started a new practice. And I had to be courageous, because the tradition I learned from doesn’t explicitly teach this in the way I needed. Which goes to show you: sometimes you have to search on your own. Sometimes you have to be your own guru for a season. Even strong systems don’t always meet the exact moment you’re in. The technique is simple. I repeat Om silently in the mind. Over and over. Whenever I feel unsettled, wayward, or critical. It functions almost like a background phenomenon. I can walk, make coffee, listen to someone speak. Unless something requires intense focus, Om hums quietly underneath experience — just occupying enough mental bandwidth so the mind’s tricks don’t hijack the moment. It doesn’t suppress thought. It steadies the nervous system. It gives the mind somewhere sacred to rest. --- --- But here’s the important part: unless you develop a relationship with Om, this won’t work. Just like falling in love, you have to get to know it. Everything has vibration. Everything carries subtle energy. Certain places calm you, certain songs open you, certain people regulate you. That subtle field is not random. It is participation in something deeper. Om is the symbolic doorway into that. Not magic. Not superstition. Orientation. A reminder that beneath the noise there is continuity. Beneath fragmentation there is coherence. Beneath anxiety there is a current that is not anxious.
