January Tea & Talk session
Thank you to @Jeanne A Kargel @Gina Starks and @Jim Flach for participating in this month's Tea & Talk session. I did not let my nerves get to me and I stuck to the outline. ๐Ÿคฉ So happy that we had such a productive conversation. Setting intentions is more than just goal setting. We did stray from our topic a bit at the end but it is all good! The recipes, materia medicas, intention setting worksheet will all be uploaded into the classroom today, some already there. I hope each of you have a wonderful month of setting intentions! Stay positive and kind ๐Ÿ’œ๐ŸŒน

As we wrap up our hydration journey, let's take it a step further and focus on the quality of our water. Our "Clean Water Guide" has shown us that not all water is created equal. Here's your final challenge to ensure you're drinking the cleanest, healthiest water possible: Check Your Source: Whether you're on municipal tap water, well water, or a community water system, take time to investigate your water quality. Request the most recent Water Quality Report (Consumer Confidence Report) for your area. Test Your Water: If you're on well water, conduct a water test. Look for common contaminants like arsenic, lead, nitrates, bacteria, and pesticides. Choose the Right Filter: Many popular filters like Brita only improve taste but don't offer real protection from toxins. Research and invest in a high-quality filter that removes a broad range of contaminants without stripping beneficial minerals. Consider options like Pure Effects Ultra or ProOne Water Filters. Upgrade Your Water Bottle: Ditch plastic and choose a non-toxic water bottle made from stainless steel (like Klean Kanteen or Hydro Flask), glass (like Lifefactory), or silicone-lined options. Consider a Shower Filter: This can help reduce chlorine exposure through skin and steam. Stay Informed: Keep in contact with your local water authority or Homeowners Association about water maintenance and any potential issues. Share Your Journey: Post about your clean water discoveries, new filter setup, or favorite new water bottle in our challenge thread. Remember, clean water isn't just about avoiding toxins; it's about supporting your whole system. When your water is clean and mineral-rich, your body can hydrate better, detox more efficiently, and feel more energized overall. Let's raise a glass (of clean water) to our health! Who's ready to take on this final challenge? ๐Ÿ’งโœจ

Here's a post you can use for Skool, including the rules for the challenge: ๐ŸŒŠ 21-Day Hydration Challenge ๐ŸŒŠ Welcome to our August Hydration Challenge! Starting August 11th, we're embarking on a 21-day journey to transform our health, one sip at a time. Let's dive in! Challenge Rules: 1. Calculate your daily water goal: Aim for half to one ounce of water per pound of body weight. For example, if you weigh 150 pounds, your target would be 75-150 ounces daily. 2. Start your day right: Drink 16-20 ounces of water upon waking to kickstart your metabolism. 3. Track your intake: Use a water tracking app, journal, or marked water bottle to monitor your daily consumption. 4. Infuse for flavor: Experiment with infused waters to make hydration more enjoyable. Try combinations like lemon + lime + mint or cucumber + mint. 5. Create a hydration schedule: Plan your water intake throughout the day. For example: - Upon waking (6-7 AM): 16-20 oz - Mid-morning (10 AM): 8-12 oz - Pre-lunch (12 PM): 8 oz - Afternoon (2-3 PM): 12-16 oz - Pre-dinner (5-6 PM): 8 oz - Evening wind-down (8 PM): Final 8 oz 6. Post daily: Share your progress, favorite infused water recipes, or hydration tips in the Monthly Challenge tab. Remember, consistency is key! By the end of these 21 days, you'll have formed a powerful habit that can significantly improve your overall health and well-being. Let's raise our water bottles to better health!
